Spring semester courses are beginning to be released Important Notes All online and hybrid courses beginning in January should be available by noon on January 12. Section 81B classes will not appear until mid-March.. You may continue to see "extra" courses for a few more days. They should be gone before January 20. Student email accounts are active for students who registered before January 7. If you change your email account password, you are responsible for remembering it. URGENT...WARNING ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER 8 Internet Explorer version 8 (IE8) is NOT compatible with Blackboard. Several issues are arising from trying to use Blackboard with IE8. A better option is to use either Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla FireFox version 2.0. If you cannot find FireFox 2.0, contact the help desk and they can send you the link. USERNAME: Eight characters long using the first four letters of your last name and the last four numbers of your BCC Student ID in LLLL#### format. For example, Donald G. Duck's student ID is 3501234. His username would be: duck1234 Student ID numbers are printed on your registration receipt. Contact Student Services at 910-755-7320 for assistance if you do not know your student ID number. PASSWORD: Your 6-digit birthday using the mmddyy format.
Things to remember: *DO NOT include the 19 as part of the year. *It is better not to use the number from the back of your Dolphin Card photo ID as it contains other information. However, you may extract your student ID number from your Dolphin Card by using the 10th through the 13th number (ignoring the first A). For example, if the number is A24016900123454A, the underlined numbers (2345) are the portion of the card number used in the student username. Special Cases: *Hyphenated last names: Use the name in front of the hyphen (Johnson-Jones would use john) *If your last name is 3-letters long, use those 3 letters and the last 5 numbers from your student ID number (Mary Fee - ID #0312345, would be fee12345) Instructors should contact the Distance Learning Department for login and password information BCC Help Desk - powered by Presidium Learning A 24-hour Help Desk for online and hybrid students can be found online by clicking here or by calling 1-866-517-3537 BCC Library Services for Distance Learning Students
